Welcome to Potters Barn!
Potters’ Barn is set in the heart of the Roman village of Ribchester, which is situated in the picturesque Ribble Valley. Famous for its surrounding natural beauty it is very popular with cyclists and walkers, who are made very welcome in our beautiful award winning café.

Mother’s Day 2022
Bookings are now being taken for Mother’s Day, we are doing our wonderful specials and afternoon tea and we also have a great selection of pottery to paint for this day of celebration.
Welcoming … whatever the weather!
We are open 7 days a week and welcome muddy boots, muddy paws and cyclists. The garden is a wonderful place to be in the summer months, but for the rest of the year, our log fire is often a welcome sight for our guests!

Good, wholesome food …
We believe in cooking and baking good, healthy, homemade food, using fabulous local suppliers who are on our doorstep.
In our eighth year, we have become known for our delicious soups, healthy salads and our fantastic range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, plus our gluten, wheat and dairy free choices. We have a baker who makes the most delicious bread and who bakes our fantastic cakes.
Upcoming events!
We’re hoping to bring lots of events back to Potters Barn this summer! These include our very popular Painting & Prosecco Nights and several Wine Tasting Evenings!
Our next Painting and Prosecco Night will be on 9 September 2022.
This years Christmas Artisan Fayre will be on 11 November 2022!
Watch this space for more information, dates and availability!

Award winning…
We have been a finalist in the Ribble Valley Business Awards and won the Best Lancashire Tearoom Award sponsored by Lancashire Life in 2017. We have always held a 5 star hygiene rating and delivered a high standard of service.
We endorse fair-trade tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bananas and use local suppliers as much as we can, even when it comes to our beers and ciders. Yes, we are licensed … Cheers!
